Ryan Hansen did a clinical rotation with our clinic in 2008. Fun fact: Ryan and his wife, Melissa, drove from Rapid City, SD to Vermillion, SD with a 5-day old baby (oldest child, Henry) to attend his graduation from USD’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. Ryan then returned to this clinic as a DPT and began practicing as a physical therapist helping improve the lives of patients living in Rapid City and the surrounding area.
Ryan and Melissa bought into the clinic in 2009 while continuing to practice as a physical therapist helping patients return to the quality of life they aspired to lead. 2011 brought additional changes and Ryan took over the whole practice, keeping the staff that was here to continue to serve the community and surrounding area.
The biggest change of the clinic came in 2014, when Hansen Physical Therapy moved from it’s Mt Rushmore Road location to it’s current location 50 Minnesota St, Suite 2. This location has become a medical hub for the south side of Rapid City and we are happy to be part of it!
While some of the faces of Hansen Physical Therapy have changed over the years, Ryan and the staff have continued to provide quality treatment to patients by creating a great team atmosphere with patient improvement at the center of focus. He has done this while being a great mentor for his family, the community, and the greater Black Hills area.
